发信人: dangco (dangco), 信区: JobHunting 标  题: 关于OPT挂靠方法说明 发信站: BBS 未名空间站 (Tue Dec  6 11:19:47 2011, 美东) 看到很多同学问，我也就发一下我了解的结果，后面的同学可以参考。当然更加权威的 回答，请咨询你们学校International Student Office（ISO）。 说明： 我有一个同学做过类似的事情，他去年找了外面一个朋友开的公司挂靠，后来成功转成 H1B。所以验证了方法有效。我也咨询了我们学校ISO。 具体步骤: 第一步： 我们需要了解ISO需要什么东西。 我咨询我们学校(PSU ISO)的结果是：（其它学校应该也差不多） 我们学校ISO需要你自己在ISO网站上填一个表格，说明你的“雇主姓名，雇主联系方式 ，工作开始时间，工作结束时间，工作地点，工作内容”，基本上每个一句话就可以了。 当然这个工作要和你的所学专业有相关性，至于怎么相关，我也和ISO的officer讨论过 ，他说你自己把握，因为专业太多，ISO无法判断，原则上只要你认为移民局不会找你 麻烦就好。 第二步： 你需要从雇主处拿到一个正式工作offer letter。这个offer letter你不需要给ISO， 你需要自己保存，以防移民局查你。我可能请外面的一个开公司的朋友给我挂靠，以这 个为例。我问我们学校ISO的结果是： 我朋友需要出具一个带有公司title的信件。（最好是正式信件） 这个信件内容很简单。就是4-5行。（1/4页） “雇主姓名， 雇主联系方式 工作开始时间 结束时间 工作地点 工作内容：” 每个一句话。 针对找原来学校实验室老板挂靠的情况，我的建议：（请具体咨询你们学校ISO） 让你老板也给你写一封类似上面的offer letter。或者你写好，让你老板找个带你们系 的title的纸打印出来。签个字。（你也可以找你们系的小蜜帮你打印，他那儿肯定有 纸，老板再签个字）。

OPT挂靠实际上是 OPT开始后三个月内找不到工作的同学防止身份过期，被迫回国提供 帮助，有效期为一年，任何专业,并非仅限STEM(Science/Technology/Engineering/ Mathmatics)，都可挂靠，该公司业务范围必须与该学生所学专业相关，所以为什么 consulting firm 最容易做挂靠。 OPT延期是OPT12个月结束后专门为STEM专业再延长１７个月的实习机会，仅限STEM专业 ，并且延期期间必须是payed position, 至少２０个小时／周，雇主必须为该学生缴纳 三税，所以收费比挂靠相对来说贵。

A cv might be pages and pages and would list everything--education, publications, awards affiliations, service to the community etc.A resume is as short as it can be and still get across your fitness for whatever it is you want to do. Resumes are subject to local conventions and local and international fads, too, so it's a good idea to check into the norms for the job you're considering. For example US privacy laws mean you should not include your social security number, your birth date or your marital status (3 things that used to be expected on a resume in Germany, I don't know if they still are). Listing objectives was considered forward thinking about 20 years ago, now the people who do it tend to be those looking for a lower level administrative jobs. I have on-going discussions with a client about the way she should be using key words--I keep saying that describing yourself as a dynamic, results-oriented . . .anything may not get you past the automa...
