Big Data Analyst
Seeking a creative, highly quantitative Data Analyst with 2-4 years of experience, working with large data sets to create large-scale analytical solutions to client driven business problems; leading to substantial business impact.

Requirements
Background
-          BS/MS in a highly analytical discipline (Computer Science/Physics/Mathematics )
-          Must possess a solid understanding of concepts in statistics; strong background in vector/matrix arithmetic preferred
-          2-5 years of professional, relevant experience
-          At least 1 year of experience working on customer-facing application; knowledge of data warehouse applications is a plus
 
Technology
-          Experience working with databases, manipulating, summarizing, and analyzing data; including working knowledge of process flow, data flow, system interaction, and data model diagrams required; large data set experience highly preferred 
-          Database experience; including understanding of database structures
-          Strong proficiency in query languages such as SQL
-          Programming abilities to facilitate the manipulation of large matrixes.; list/vector-based language (e.g. Lisp, Scheme, K, or APL) highly preferred
-          Understanding of parallel and distributed systems
-          Working knowledge of statistical software (SAAS, SPSS, MATLAB)
