Price Analysis Bottom Line
  • The price per sheet is $0.00177, which is much lower than my personal purchase point of $0.00253 per sheet. This is 1 of the 5 best toilet paper deals of 2018 that is widely available.
Quick Price References
  • Costco Wholesale's typical sale price on Charmin toilet paper is $0.00253 per sheet, which serves as the basis of my purchase point.
  • Do note that the Charmin toilet paper sold at Costco is slightly wider than the ones sold elsewhere.
Detailed Price Tracking
  • This spreadsheet of mine provides price tracking information, history, and other details. The highlighted blue row is the product in this particular deal.
General Price Analysis Notes
  • For toilet paper price calculations, I do not factor in sheet widths and square footage.
  • I am not comparing apples to apples, so to speak, and this brand may usually have a higher price than some other brands. Of course, there may be other, more personalized factors to consider, including warehouse club memberships; shipping fees; product quantities; subscription programs such as Amazon's Subscribe & Save and Target's Subscriptions; convenience of stores and locations; and availability of cashback programs.
Favorite Toilet Paper Ranking
The following may be TMI. And of course, this ranking shows my personal preference, so there's a high chance you may not agree.

Please note that there is a huge drop-off in quality between the top 6 and the bottom rest.
  1. Charmin Ultra Strong
    • everything you'd want in a toilet paper
  2. Prince & Spring Ultra Soft Premium (Boxed.com house brand)
    • excellent balance of being almost as soft as Quilted Northern Ultra Plush and almost as strong as Charmin Ultra Strong
  3. Quilted Northern Ultra Plush Three-Ply
    • OMG - three ply! it really is plush. Charmin Ultra Strong is not as soft, so some people may prefer this
  4. Charmin Ultra Soft
    • excellent, but often the same price as Ultra Strong, which is more tear-resistant
  5. Kirkland Signature Ultra Soft
    • it's a shame this has been discontinued; note that this not the regular Kirkland type
  6. Presto! Ultra-Soft (Amazon house brand)
    • decent balance of soft and strong
  7. Presto! Ultra-Strong (Amazon house brand)
    • strong, but too rough
  8. Seventh Generation Toilet Paper
    • rough and thin; similar to Kirkland Signature 2-Ply
  9. Kirkland Signature 2-Ply
    • in every way, the most generic toilet paper
    • note: its regular price is better than virtually all toilet paper deals
  10. Scott Extra Soft
    • prone to breakage; this is the only one-ply toilet paper on this list
  11. Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong
    • despite its name, it isn't strong, but it is soft
  12. Angel Soft
    • not worth writing to angels about
  13. Cottonelle Ultra ComfortCare
    • this toilet paper is annoying; it seems okay until you notice the lint particles
I hope this helps,
