35, no debt. I have around 100k in a HYSA. This is partially in case I want to put a down payment on a house and some for an emergency fund. Also for major purchases in general so I can continue to max contributions to all three accounts without interruption. I've considered investing this but I feel by not investing it it guarantees I won't end up needing to take out money from retirement accounts or stop contributions in an emergency or life changing event.

The retirement fund in my 401k has an expense ratio of .3. I max out 401k and I did the math and found over 25-30 years it would add up to over 90 thousand dollars of expenses so I made my own allocations.
