Medi-Cal加州医疗卡

Medi-Cal是加州政府替低收入之家庭，老人，儿童及有残疾人士支付医疗费用。申请白卡，不需为美籍公民，有永久居留身份亦可。
Medi-Cal之经费来自联邦政府及加州政府。
以下几等人士可以取得Medi-Cal医疗卡：
21岁以下儿童。
65岁或以上老人或未入籍之新移民(注：a)
有伤残人士。
SSI领取者，自动获得加州白卡，无需申请。
领有家庭补助计划受益人。
加州医疗卡申请条件与申请SSI一样。申请人每个月的收入如未超过加州医疗卡(一般称为白卡)之限额，白卡是免费的。若收入超过上限，你要付出一种“共同额自付费”，举例：如在你的白卡上有注明上述之自付费额是$100，你看医师及购买药物费要超过$100才可使用你的白卡。你可以请医师帮助你向加州医药卡上报你己付是自己之$100自付费。
如你的收入或地址有更改，务必要在更改后10日内向白卡部门呈报。
Medi-Cal 如何申请？
致电或者联系你县当地的社会服务办公室http://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/medi-cal/Pages/CountyOffices.aspx，要求申请Medi-Cal，要获得申请表格请浏览http://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/medi-cal/Pages/MediCalApplications.aspx，或者你也可以在网上进行申请http://www.benefitscal.com/BenefitsPortal/landing.html。
如果你需要有人帮助你填写表格，请致电县社会服务机构。
邮寄或者携带你的申请表格以及所需证明资料前往你县最近的社会服务机构。如果你没有所有的证明材料，或者不确定哪些是你所需要的，请带上你现有的材料。你可以在之后进行补充。社会服务机构越快收到你的申请，你的申请程序就可以更快开始，你也能够更快开始接受你的Medi-Cal 津贴。
如果你接受SSI/SSP福利收入，你的社会安全管理局办公室会自动为你设Medi-Cal 。你不需要另外进行申请，并且会在信件中收到你的Medi-Cal 卡 (BIC）。
如果你接受CalWORKs 福利收入， 你的社会安全管理局办公室会自动为你设edi-Cal 。你不需要另外进行申请，并且会在信件中收到你的Medi-Cal 卡 (BIC）。
