1. Drive to BNSF train station Route 59 in Aurora. (~ 20 min)
2. Take BNSF train to Union Station. (~ 1h)
3. Catch CTA Blue line to ORD. (~ 45 min)
The nearest one is Clinton-Blue, which is just 2 blocks south when we
get out of the station. Next nearest one seems on Jackson Street, 5
blocks east on the other side of the river.
The Chicago Transit Authority runs a 24 hour service - the Blue Line -
from downtown Chicago to O'Hare. Trains run every ten minutes during
the day. # Fare: $1.50.
The O'Hare CTA station is located on the lowest level of the Parking
Garage in the main terminal area. Follow the signs for Terminals 1, 2
or 3. Passengers for Terminal 5 go to Terminal 3 and take the ATS
transfer train to Terminal 5.

There are bike racks at the West Chicago
Metra station. You can lock it there and take the train home and the
next day bike to the lab. You can also take it on the train on
weekends and week day non rush hours. However when you get flat tire
or it rains you must call someone to pick you up.
Below's the route. You need to be careful when crossing Roosevelt Rd;
sometimes wait long time for clear traffic. Since the north entrance
is closed, you also have to raise your bike over the fence. It takes
about 25 min one way.

Terminal 5
Terminal 5, the International Terminal, has its own parking area - Lot D. It is intended for short term parking. For longer stays use Lot E.
Long Term Parking
Economy Parking lots E and F are intended for longer stays and long term parking. Transportation to/from Lot E is by the ATS people mover. There is a free shuttle from Lot F to the ATS station in Lot E.
Parking charges are based on the actual time a vehicle is in the garage or lot.
