Role Summary/Purpose: | We are seeking an energetic & motivated recruiting team member to execute the social media recruiting efforts including daily communication and content updates. This role provides a valuable learning experience; exposure to virtually all aspects of Talent Acquisition. |
Essential Responsibilities | * Take a lead role in the execution of the recruiting social media strategies utilizing tools such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and identify ways to increase interactions and improve messaging of career opportunities across the Home & Business Solutions segment. * Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and continuously analyze the social media tools to increase brand awareness. Monitor the social media landscape to recommend emerging trends of social media efforts with key business initiatives. Be the eyes and ears of the businesses recruiting brand in the social media arena. * Utilize social media to promote new jobs and answer follower’s questions about working for or applying to jobs. Engage with and source job candidates through online social networking tools and technology, while representing and promoting the GE brand. * Partner with the talent acquisition team to develop and implement innovative social media strategies supporting diversity recruiting initiatives. * Lead talent acquisition projects including the recruiting newsletter, candidate experience survey, recruiting metrics and career landing pages. Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to host corporate recruiting events. * Support the recruiting team on recruiting related matters. * Ensure that all staffing efforts are in compliance with GE company and business level polices and data privacy regulations. |
Qualifications/Requirements: | * BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college * Corporate Talent Acquisition experience. Experience in dedicated blogging and use of social media (Facebook and Twitter) to correspond daily with interested candidates. * Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with job candidates, and people at varying levels of the organization. * Exceptional planning, time management and organization skills. * Desire and ability to work in a high volume/fast passed environment. Ability to adjust to changing priorities. |
