This is because if you worked hard during your years in medical imaging, you
would have developed very strong skills in signal processing, image
processing, programming, artificial intelligence, statistics, high-
performance processing, and so on.
These skills will enable you to find many high-paying software development
jobs. However, most of these employment opportunities are outside the
medical imaging field. It is because the size of this industry is too small,
and also because it is highly regulated. Only big companies can have the
resource to get through regulatory approval to develop medical software.
>> 编程上只熟悉C++和Matlab。
Knowing C++ and MATLAB is good enough. When looking for a job, read the
company's background carefully. Does the company have a need for high-
performance processing software, algorithms, etc? You may need to ask the
interviewer if his/her company really needs your skills. If not, it's better
to look elsewhere.
Try post your resume on career sites such as Linked-in. Don't forget to
network through your professors.
For example, if you post your resume online, you may get inquiries from high
-frequency stock trading companies ...
